WSLC Convention Unanimously Passes RPEC Resolutions

WSLC Convention Unanimously Passes RPEC Resolutions

The 2022 Constitutional Convention of the Washington State Labor Council (WSLC), AFL-CIO, just wrapped up in Wenatchee. Among all the work in front of the convention were two resolutions from the Retired Public Employees Council. Both RPEC resolutions were passed unanimously by the convention body. We wish to thank WSLC for considering, adopting, and working in solidarity on these resolutions:

Plan 1 COLA Resolution

UMP Classic Medicare Resolution

We also would like to thank the following coalition partners for the united front presented to the Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB) at their June 30th meeting: Washington Education Association-Retired, Puget Sound Advocates for Retirement Action (PSARA), Health Care Is a Human Right, the Washington State Alliance for Retired Americans (WSARA), Social Security Works WA, Washington State Senior Citizens’ Lobby, American Federation of Teachers Washington, and American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees Council 28 (WFSE).
