Senate Passes Social Security Fairness Act

In a 76-20 vote late Friday evening, the Senate passed the Social Security Fairness Act (H.R. 82). The House had passed H.R. 82 on November 12th as reported in our earlier post. This has been a long-time legislative priority of RPEC and we are excited with its passage.

The bill is now headed to the desk of President Biden, who is expected to sign the measure into law.
