2024 RPEC/WEA-Retired Joint Legislative Day
Legislative Day is an opportunity to make our voices heard!

WHEN:
- Monday, January 22nd, 2024
- 9:30 AM – Check-in
- 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Training Session
- 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM – Working lunch with legislative district teams
- 1:30 PM – 4:15 PM – Legislator Meetings at Capitol (Bus transportation to and from Olympia Hotel will be provided)
- NOTE: There will NOT be a Legislative Reception this year.

- Olympia Hotel at Capitol Lake
- 2300 Evergreen Park Drive SW, Olympia, WA 98502
- Check-in/Training in Forest Ballroom (downstairs)
DETAILS:
- RPEC Members ONLY: Lodging is the responsibility of the attendee & is not eligible for reimbursement by the Council Office. To make a room reservation, contact the hotel at (360) 943-4000 and be sure to request the “RPE” room block rate of $119 + tax (yes, that’s correct, “RPE“). The last day you are guaranteed this room block rate is January 7, 2024.
- NOTE: There will NOT be a Legislative Reception this year.
- Mileage for travel to and from the event is eligible for reimbursement by the Council Office at 50¢ per mile for RPEC members. All other expenses are the responsibility of the attendee (but may be reimbursable by the Chapter at their discretion).
- If you register and are unable to make it to Legislative Day, please let Council Office know so we can adjust legislative meetings as needed.
- Remember to wear your RPEC or WEA-Retired shirts! Green RPEC t-shirts will also be available for purchase at the event for $10. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
