Executive Director’s Report – February 2026

Winter is firmly upon us as the 2026 Legislative Session is well underway. The focus by lawmakers is of course – budget, budget, budget, with a little creative taxation sprinkled in for revenue creation, albeit controversial between parties. This is written just ahead of our annual Legislative Week, in which we partner with WEA-Retired. Together, we have over 190 participants and a majority of legislative district meetings scheduled.
