Thank you for taking action! In our last issue, we asked you to sign in PRO on the Plan 1 cost of living adjustment (COLA) agenda item for the November meeting of the Select Committee on Pension Policy (SCPP). We had over 500 members that registered in support. The SCPP recommended forwarding a letter to the chairs of the Senate and House fiscal committees urging reintroduction of HB 1474, which would provide a one-time 3% COLA with a $110 cap for Plan 1 retirees.
