Washington Redistricting 2022

The RPEC Redistricting Forum 

New district boundaries will determine the balance of power in our state Legislature. Who will represent us will have a huge impact on what the Legislature cares about, including issues like retired public employee  pensions and health care costs.

Washington State’s Redistricting Commission is working right now to redesign our state’s Congressional and Legislative District boundaries. Our forum will cover what their redistricting process is (including the updated timeline) as well as the criteria that RPEC has developed to help assess varying redistricting proposals. We’ve attached three resource documents with more background for you. Please note in the FAQ the Commission’s list of its operating criteria.

Virtual Interactive Redistricting Forum, Sept 16, 2021
