Retired Public Employees Council of WA Working to protect and enhance the pension and health care benefits of Washington retired state, county and local government employees
District 1 had all four chapters (Chapter 6 – Everett Area, Chapter 7 – Whatcom County Area, Chapter 8 – Skagit County Area, & Chapter 37 – Lynnwood Area) participate in a legislative forum on June 4th.
Legislators in attendance included 40th LD Senator Liz Lovelett, 38th LD Representative Mike Sells, 1st LD Representative Shelley Kloba and Quinton Harrington, Executive Legislative Assistant to 44th LD Representative John Lovick. The lawmakers responded some prepared questions and later fielded questions from the members. Members encouraged the district to have more forums like this.
